Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service govern your use of SchoolSift, a service provided by StorySafe LLC. By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. Your account

You must be 18 or older and provide accurate information. You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account.

One account is intended for one household. Both parents or guardians in a household may share it.

3. What the service does

SchoolSift receives email you forward to your unique address, processes it automatically to identify school-related content, and produces summaries, action items, dates and money asks organized per child.

Automated extraction can be incomplete or wrong. SchoolSift is a convenience tool. You remain responsible for reading and acting on your school's communications, especially anything with a deadline, medical, legal or safety implication.

4. Acceptable use

Don't forward content you have no right to share, use the service to harass anyone, attempt to access other users' data, reverse engineer or overload the service, or resell it without written permission.

Don't use SchoolSift to process bulk mail unrelated to your family's schooling.

5. Plans and billing

The Free plan is offered at no cost and may change over time. Premium is $7.99 per month or $79 per year, billed in advance through our payment processor.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time from Settings; access continues until the end of the paid period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice before it affects your next renewal.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you send us. You grant StorySafe LLC a limited license to store and process that content solely to operate the service for you. We handle it as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Availability and changes

We aim for reliable service but don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features, and we'll give reasonable notice of material changes affecting paid plans.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or create risk for other users. On termination your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, StorySafe LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for missed school deadlines, events, payments or communications.

Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Questions: hello@schoolsift.com.
